Sales Account Executive

Colocation and Managed Services

Job Description:

ColoSpace, Inc. (www.colospace.com) is a leading provider of Colocation, Managed Hosting, and Disaster Recovery Services in New England. We deliver an array of services to support mission-critical applications from our network of five data centers located in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.

The successful Account Executive candidate will be the sales lead in a defined territory to acquire new accounts and expand business in an existing account base. This is an individual contributor role with a base salary and strong commission plan. Our ideal candidate is one that can build upon their experience, relationships and tech savvy to sell communication services, colocation or managed services with our growing firm.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales quota
  • Generate, develop, and manage an extensive sales pipeline
  • Coordinate internal team members to design, present, and close compelling business solutions
  • Proactively prospect and network to expand opportunity pool
  • Build long term customer relationships at the CXO level
  • Maintain records of contacts, accounts, and opportunities in CRM database (Saleforce.com)

Job Qualifications:

Inside Sales Representative – Lead Generator

Colocation and Managed Services

Location: Bedford, NH

Job Description:

ColoSpace, Inc. (www.colospace.com) is a leading provider of Colocation, Managed Hosting, and Disaster Recovery Services in New England. We deliver an array of services to support mission-critical applications from our network of five data centers located in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.

The successful Inside Sales Representative candidate will be primarily responsible for lead generation and expanding business for an existing sales team. This is an individual contributor role with a base salary and strong commission plan. Our ideal candidate is one with proven success in generating qualified leads through a calling program.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in achieving or exceeding monthly and annual sales quota.
  • Generate, develop and manage an extensive lead pipeline.
  • Consistently manage a schedule between 65–70 calls per day.
  • Through the program, generate qualified leads for the sales team to manage, nurture, and close.
  • Work closely with the Marketing department on call campaigns.
  • Maintain records of contacts, accounts, and opportunities in CRM database (Saleforce.com).

Systems Engineer

Colocation and Managed Services

Job Description:

Do you have a background in supporting VMware/Linux and Windows environments and other IT technologies, but are limited in the technologies you can learn or are exposed to at your current job? As a premier 24x7x365 Managed Services company, ColoSpace provides services across multiple platforms and disciplines such as Windows, VMware, Linux, Cisco, Juniper, Dell, HP, SAN, NAS, DAS, Cloud Storage, Backups, Security, Monitoring, Disaster Recovery, and more. We also provide infrastructure and architecture services to some of the largest firms in the Financial Services, Healthcare, High Technology, and Professional Services industries.

We are always searching for customer focused, well-rounded Systems Engineers looking to exercise their technical abilities and expand their knowledge and experience.

The right candidate will be part of a tight knit, customer focused, and highly collaborative team. They'll have opportunities to broaden their careers and skills in a culture of knowledge sharing, college tuition reimbursements, and paid certification programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate in end to end installation and support of new customer environments
  • Monitoring and support of existing customer environments
  • Foster the continued improvement and maintenance of our customer service
  • Identify technology upgrades and improvements based on experience and industry best practices
  • Research and development on the latest virtualization technology, tools, and capabilities as well as other emerging infrastructure capabilities
  • Participate and resolve Tier 1-2 escalations
  • Create and maintain infrastructure and troubleshooting documentation to reduce unnecessary escalations

Required Skills:

4+ years of hands-on experience with installation and support of the following technologies:

  • Hypervisor & VMware 4, 5 and 6x
  • Server clustering, replication, and other high-availability and disaster recovery technologies
  • Red Hat, CentOS, and LAMP environments
  • SAN, NAS, and DAS technologies
  • Encryption technologies
  • Local and cloud backup solutions

Understanding of and troubleshooting skills with:

  • IP networks, vlans, subnetting, and common protocols
  • Internet functionality and security
  • PowerShell and scripting tools

Knows how to be:

  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills, combined with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Independent self-starter who is able to successfully complete job functions with minimal supervision
  • Reliable and responsible team player (documentation, mentoring, and collaboration)
  • Strong desire to learn new skills and apply knowledge to solve unique challenges and improve the team
  • Participate in mandatory on call rotation

Education and Experience:

  • VMware and Linux certifications or course completions
  • BA/BS in relevant subject preferred but not required
  • Opportunities exist for a 4 day work week on a monthly rotation for the first, second, and third shifts at our Somerville, MA data center

Channel Account Executive

The successful Channel Account Executive candidate will lead ColoSpace's efforts in a defined channel program, activating partners, expanding business with existing partners and selling individual deals. The Channel Account Executive will work closely with executive management and the sales team to activate the program and increase ColoSpace sales. Our ideal candidate is one that can build upon their experience and relationships in selling communication services, colocation, or managed services through channel partners and leverage them with our growing firm.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual partner activation and sales quotas
  • Generate, develop, and manage/coordinate an extensive sales pipeline
