Sales Account Executive

Job Description:

We deliver an array of services to support mission-critical applications from our network of five data centers located in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.

The successful Account Executive candidate will be the sales lead in a defined territory to acquire new accounts and expand business in an existing account base. This is an individual contributor role with a base salary and strong commission plan. Our ideal candidate is one that can build upon their experience, relationships and tech savvy to sell communication services, colocation or managed services with our growing firm.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales quota
  • Generate, develop, and manage an extensive sales pipeline
  • Coordinate internal team members to design, present, and close compelling business solutions
  • Proactively prospect and network to expand opportunity pool

Inside Sales Representative – Lead Generator

Colocation and Managed Services

Location: Bedford, NH

Job Description:

We deliver an array of services to support mission-critical applications from our network of five data centers located in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.

The successful Inside Sales Representative candidate will be primarily responsible for lead generation and expanding business for an existing sales team. This is an individual contributor role with a base salary and strong commission plan. Our ideal candidate is one with proven success in generating qualified leads through a calling program.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in achieving or exceeding monthly and annual sales quota.
  • Generate, develop and manage an extensive lead pipeline.
  • Consistently manage a schedule between 65–70 calls per day.
  • Through the program, generate qualified leads for the sales team to manage, nurture, and close.
  • Work closely with the Marketing department on call campaigns.
  • Maintain records of contacts, accounts, and opportunities in CRM database (Saleforce.com).

Network Engineer

Colocation and Managed Services

Location: Somerville, MA

Job Description:

Do you have experience in supporting critical and highly available environments and other IT technologies but are limited in the technologies you can learn or are exposed to at your current job? As a premier 24×7 365 Managed Services company, ColoSpace provides services across multiple platforms and disciplines such as, Windows, VMware, Linux, Cisco, Juniper, Dell, HP, SAN, NAS, DAS, Cloud Storage, Backups, Security, Monitoring, Disaster Recovery, and more. We also provide infrastructure and architecture services to some of the largest firms in the Financial Services, Healthcare, High Technology, and Professional Services industries.

We are currently looking for a well-rounded Tier 3 or 4 Network Engineer with experiences in supporting and maintaining all aspects of a 24x7x365 Cisco/Juniper Enterprise WAN/LAN in an MSP environment. Plus, experience with other manufacturers and network technologies across a variety of industries.

The right candidate will be part of a tight knit, customer focused, and highly collaborative team. They’ll have opportunities to broaden their careers and skills in a culture of knowledge sharing, college tuition reimbursements, and paid certification programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate in end to end installation and support of new customer environments
  • Monitoring and support of existing customer environments
  • Foster the continued improvement and maintenance of our customer service
  • Identify technology upgrades and improvements based on experience and industry best practices
  • Research and development on the latest virtualization technology, tools, and capabilities as well as other emerging infrastructure capabilities
  • Participate and resolve Tier 1-2 escalations
  • Create and maintain infrastructure and troubleshooting documentation to reduce unnecessary escalations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • End to end configuration, installation and support of ColoSpace’s network services.
  • Hands on management of maintenance and upgrades to corporate and managed customer networks.
  • Resolve Tier 3 and 4 network support escalations.
  • Ensure device manufacturer and industry best practices are followed to build highly secure, redundant and stable networks.
  • Perform network assessments and security audits using Nessus.
  • Reduce escalations and resolution times by creating and maintaining infrastructure and troubleshooting documentation for other team members.
  • Foster the improvement and support of all ColoSpace services and customer service.
  • Continually research and review new technologies.
  • Design and documentation of corporate and customer network environments.

Required Skills:

4+ years of Cisco with some Juniper experience and additional experience with the following disciplines

  • Routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • IPv4, IPv6 networks, vlans, subnetting, and common protocols.
  • Intrusion detection and monitoring
  • BGP, OSPF, and MPLS
  • Designing and troubleshooting Cisco VPN services at layer 2 and layer 3
  • Layer-2 Ethernet WAN, MEF services (ELINE, ELAN, EVPN)
  • Collaboration with Systems Administrators in the architecture and implementation of VMware, Microsoft, Linux and cloud storage environments
  • DNS

4+ years’ experience in systems administration or support in these disciplines

  • VMware and Hyper-V
  • Server environments such as: Microsoft, LAMP and Cent OS.
  • Storage technologies and supporting networks: SAN, NAS and DAS
  • Load balancers
  • Web content switches
  • DDOS

Knows how to be

  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills combined with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Independent self-starter who is able to successfully complete job functions with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable and responsible team player (documentation, mentoring, and collaboration).

Education and Experience:

Opportunities exist for a 4 day work week on a monthly rotation for the first shift at our Somerville, MA data center.

The successful Channel Account Executive candidate will lead ColoSpace’s efforts in a defined channel program, activating partners, expanding business with existing partners and selling individual deals. The Channel Account Executive will work closely with executive management and the sales team to activate the program and increase ColoSpace sales. Our ideal candidate is one that can build upon their experience and relationships in selling communication services, colocation, or managed services through channel partners and leverage them with our growing firm.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual partner activation and sales quotas
  • Generate, develop, and manage/coordinate an extensive sales pipeline
